Super Moon
— June 23, 2013
Be sure to look out for the Moon these next few months as it approaches Perigee, because the full moons during these times will appear exceptionally large. The Moon will be at its Perigee, or closest approach, in July 23 and it will reach full moon only a few minutes after it passes this point in its orbit.
These ‘super moons’ not only appear larger because they are physically closer but, combined with a full moon, the mind can play tricks on you to think they are much larger. This phenomena is called the Moon Illusion. Try to catch these full moons as they rise/set because the illusion works when there is an object in the foreground, like a tree, building or mountains.

Calligraphy on girls
A rare albino green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) swims in a tank at the Sea Turtle Reserve Centre in Kosgoda, Sri Lanka. The centre collects turtle eggs from the beaches for hatching before poachers remove them as they are considered a delicacy. Once hatched the small turtles are let free in the sea. (2010)

That’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
This post really bothers me, or really this image in general, because I’ve seen this turtle a thousand times before and it’s always labeled as an “Albino” when there is literally nothing about asides from partial white colouration that suggests it’s an Albino. I’ve even seen images of its eyes and they appear black.
Like, seriously, if you guys want real Albino Sea Turtles then you should check this out.
